Assignment:
Today I introduced the Mount Everest Unit to the students. We talked a little bit about the background of the unit and the types of activites we would be working on. The students then generated a list of questions that they had about Mount Everest. These questions will be typed up and made available for all students to find information on for extra credit.
The students were placed in their "Top of the World" groups.
