Today we wrote down the definitions to the sound devices rhyme, repetition, and alliteration with examples given in class.
We read the poem "Silver" by Walter de la Mare and found instances of alliteration in small groups.
Tomorrow we will look at the meaning of the poem and the students are to come to class knowing what is being personified in the poem.
