Assignment: Today I checked in journal #5 and the students discussed the poem "Identity" further in their groups.
We then wrote down the vocabulary word concrete poetry in our notes and read the poem "400 Meter Freestyle".
The students paraphrased sections of this poem in their groups and presented their section to the class.

We will have a quiz in here on Friday that will cover all of the poetic forms we have covered up to this point (lyrical poem, haiku, free verse poem, and concrete poem). This will also cover the poems that we have read.
