Assignment:
Today we will cover linking verbs, action verbs, concrete nouns, abstract nouns, pronouns, antecedents, and adjectives if we have enough time in class.

Assignment--Due during this week's block period
This assignment will be added to on Tuesday after we cover all of the grammar that we need to for the week. Write one sentence for each part of speech and underline the part of speech used. The list of parts of speech you should be writing a sentence for is as follows:
common noun
proper noun
plural noun
singular possessive noun
plural possessive noun

The students were reminded that there is a text next Monday and Tuesday block period. This test will cover grammar, "The Road Not Taken", "The Choice", and "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings". It will include all literary terms and the vocab words segregation, discrimination, racism, prejudice, and abolish.

There will be a review session on this Friday for the test the following week.
